Sandra Bullock accepts her Razzie!

We're a few minutes away from the Academy Awards, but last night Oscar nominated Sandra Bullock accepted her Razzie award!

This makes me think she is a true class act.

Thanks to Nerdist for posting the video!

Next up for remake?

So, the remake train keeps a rollin', this time back to the 80's as New Line is set scour the remains of Police Academy.  While the original is pretty great, the subsequent sequels just grew more and more terrible.  So, I'm not entirely against the idea of remaking it, as long as they stay true to the spirit of the R-rated film and don't bring us a watered down PG comedy.

Meet Nikky Yanofsky

Hard to believe a sixteen year old has voice like this, not too mention having a #1 single already. Great stuff.

Zach on SNL!

One of the funniest guys on the planet, Zach Galifianakis will be hosting SNL this weekend.  Be prepared for quite possibly the funniest SNL episode in history.

Indiana Jones will return!

In a recent interview, the legendary Harrison Ford revealed that the holy trinity of Indy creative folks (Lucas, Spielberg, and Ford) have agreed upon the story line for the fifth outing of Indiana Jones.

He goes on to say that the film itself is still a ways off as George Lucas still has to (unfortunately) write the script.  My guess is we'll see this pretty quickly judging by the more than $700 million world wide gross of the atrocious Kingom of the Crystal Skull.

Here's hoping they bring us the great story and adventure that fans really crave and not more sci-fi nonsense.

Where The Wild Things Are On DVD and Blu-Ray!

Arriving on DVD and Blu-ray today is one of the few must see films of 2009, Where The Wild Things Are.

This is definently a must own film. It's a beautiful movie well worth your time and money.  I'm still hoping we'll see a longer director's cut one day.  One can hope right?

Blu-Ray Roundup - Action movies!

The 80's and 90's could probably be described as the pinnacle time for Action Films. Schwarzenegger, Gibson, Stallone, Seagal. These are names that commanded the box office.

This week we're bringing you peaks at four action film releases from Lionsgate on the amazing Blu-Ray format. We have one film from the eighties and three from the nineties, which probably was when action flicks were at their best right?  Well, based on these examples you might debate me on that...

Click the Rawr! for looks at The Running Man, The Phantom, Drop Zone, and Hard Rain.
