During the 80’s Billy Squier’s music was everywhere but sadly for years much of his musical catalogue has been out of print and extremely hard to find.
Luckily for rock fans worldwide BGO Records has released Billy’s 1st 7 solo CDs in re-mastered 2 Disc sets. From his 1980 solo debut “Tale Of The Tape” through 1991’s “Creatures Of Habit” all of Squier’s music has been given the sonic digital upgrade that it desperately needed.
“Emotions In Motion” produced by Mack (Queen) and “All Night Long” produced by Jim Steinman (Meat Loaf) have been long out of print and the original CD releases never sounded as good as the original vinyl LPs. These chart toppers are available once again and sound incredible.
Squier’s music has always been a unique blend of arena rock with a funky groove and the remastered sound on these 2 discs will have you clapping your hands and stomping your feet from the first licks of “Everybody Wants You” and the pumping bass of “Emotions In Motion.” Other stand-out tracks include “She’s A Runner,” “Listen To The Heartbeat,” “All Night Long,” “Rock Me Tonite” and “(Another) 1984” which features guest lead guitarist Brian May from Queen.
Also available a 2 Disc set which features the three underrated Squier albums: “Enough Is Enough,” “Hear & Now” and “Creatures Of Habit.” All three albums feature many lost gems and would be hits including “Love Is The Hero” featuring Freddie Mercury.
If you are a Billy Squier fan and have been searching for his great lost catalogue of songs then add these BGO Records releases to your CD library today because Billy’s music has never sounded more vital than on these collections.
