2019 is shaping up to be a great year for British Invasion legends The Zombies. They are finally being inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame and what’s more, the Varèse Sarabande label is releasing the band’s complete studio recordings on vinyl!
“The Zombies: The Complete Studio Recordings” box set features The Zombies’ essential studio recordings assembled on vinyl – in one place for the first time ever. All five LPs have been pressed on 180 gram black vinyl and come housed in a beautiful slip case with the classic Zombies logo in a fancy foil stamp.
The LPs include their two original US albums: “Begin Here (US title)” from 1965 and the essential 1968 “Odessey & Oracle,” plus two important compilations: “I Love You” and “R.I.P.” Rounding out the set is a collection of rare singles and UK-only album tracks entitled “Oddities & Extras.”
“The Zombies: The Complete Studio Recordings” is the most comprehensive LP collection ever assembled for The Zombies and the sound is impeccable. There are 61 tracks of pure Psychedelic jazz-tinged pop and hours of fascination for the determined diehard fans.
