“Warner Bros. Home Entertainment provided me with a free copy of the Blu-ray I reviewed in this Blog Post. The opinions I share are my own.”

Supergirl flies into your home with the release of “Supergirl: The Complete Third Season.” Melissa Benoist stars as Kara Zor-El, Superman’s crime-fighting cousin, in the hit CW television show. Benoist is perfectly cast and brings the perfect blend of wholesomeness and badassery to the role of Krypton’s last living female.

The show continues to be a smash hit with both girls and boys and has become must see family viewing as well. Warner Bros. has done everything right with this show by introducing classic DC characters such as Metallo, Mr. Mxyzptlk and even Superman! Plus the show continues to incorporate the other heroes from the CW/DC universe such as Green Arrow The Flash and M’gann  all of whom are included in this Blu-Ray set.

Watching “Supergirl” will have you scratching your head and wondering why Warner Brother’s recent big screen superhero movies (Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, Suicide Squad and Justice League) aren’t anywhere near as good as what’s happening in the small screen DC Universe.

Thankfully  the DC Universe is hitting home runs with its strong female heroes with Wonder Woman still appearing on the big screen and “Supergirl” on the small screen!
