One of the best debut albums of the 2000’s finally gets the Deluxe Edition treatment it deserves!
Australian band JET released their debut album “Get Born” on October 7, 2003 and the long player quickly became a Platinum smash selling 4 million copies worldwide. “Get Born” spawned the singles “Cold Hard Bitch,” “Look What You’ve Done” and “Are You Gonna Be My Girl” which achieved Gold status in the USA.
Now thanks to the fine people at Cherry Red Records the album has been remastered and expanded to include every known track from the era. This expanded edition contains a total of 22 bonus tracks including B-Sides, demos, edits, radio sessions plus LIVE and alternate versions spread across 2 CDs. The DVD includes all of the bands promotional video clips, LIVE performances and behind the scenes footage.
Every track on “Get Born” is a winner and this edition truly is “ALL Killer and NO Filler.” If you enjoyed this album in 2003 I can tell you it sounds even better 17 years later. Packaged in a deluxe digipak with a 16 page booklet containing a brand new annotation and appreciation of the band by Alice Clark of Planet Rock this is the definitive issue that every JET fan must own. Time to trade your original disc in and upgrade to this new deluxe edition!!
