The greatest superhero team of all time returns to home video with “Justice League Action: Season 1 – Part 1.”
“Justice League Action” currently airs on the Cartoon Network but if you want to binge watch 26 super episodes then this DVD is for you. This new incarnation of the Justice League features your favorite heroes such as Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman but adds to the mix some cool side characters like Swamp Thing, Lobo, Booster Gold, Plastic Man and many more.
The Justice League Action voice actors are top level
The voice cast is stellar and features a celebrity-laden with returning voices Kevin Conroy as Batman and Mark Hamill as The Joker. Newbies to the DC Universe of voice talent include veteran funny man Carl Reiner plus the comedic talents of Jon Cryer, Ken Jeong, Andy Richter, Diedrich Bader and just about anyone else that comes to mind including James Woods as Lex Luthor – truly some inspired villain casting.
The hook with “Justice League Action” is this… all episodes are compact at around 12 minutes and each features a well known hero like Superman teamed up with a fan favorite like Blue Beetle, Red Tornado, Jonah Hex etc. etc. etc.
Most importantly “Justice League Action” is a show that can be enjoyed by the whole family. Dad will love seeing his favorite classic heroes and kids will love the action and humor. While you wait for new episodes to land on the Cartoon Network you need to pick up this 2-Disc set and watch from start to finish for some of the coolest adventures ever created for these DC Comics characters.
