Louise Fletcher, Fiona Lewis, Arthur Dignam, Dey Young, and Marc McClure costar, with Michael Laughlin directing the script he co-wrote with Bill Condon. Tangerine Dream provides the score with some great Aussie post-punk and 60s pop favorites rounding out the soundscape.
A small town is suddenly running over with corpses and the local police chief thinks the medical college is somehow to blame. Is there a mad doctor hiding in the cornfields, or is something else killing the teenagers of Galesburg? Chief Brady’s teenage son is about to find out.
Brimming with unusual quirks and idiosyncrasies, and featuring a party scene that is the stuff of 80s horror movie legend, it’s a criminally under-seen but endlessly enjoyable horror movie that I rate 8/10!
